When co-founder Steve Luczo was a child, his grandmother Rose told him about the beautiful land in which she was born: Corleone, Sicily. He made a promise to himself that he would one day find his way to Sicily to reconnect his family to this land where his grandparents were born.
Thirty five years later, he found the land and created a harmonious 300-hectare organic farm that celebrates premium, organic fare to enrich biodiversity, promote ustainable farming, and preserve heritage food.
When the grandfather of Steve Luczo, co-founder of Bona Furtuna, would kiss him on both cheeks and say, "Bona furtuna," it was the old Sicilian way of saying, "Wishing you all good things."
